Dedicated chamber musician and soloist, pianist Vladimir Valjarevic has performed throughout United States, Europe, and Japan, including appearances at Southwest Virginia Festival for the Arts, Manchester Music Festival and Middlebury College in Vermont, ProMozart Society in Atlanta, DePaul University in Chicago, French and Swiss Embassies and American University in Washington D.C., and on various concert series in New York City, including performances at Bargemusic, Weill, Merkin, and Steinway Halls, Yamaha Salon, United Nations, "Music Under Construction," French and Polish Consulates, and "Meet the Virtuoso" series at 92nd Street Y. He has appeared with Youngstown and Knoxville Symphonies, Manhattan Chamber Orchestra, and has collaborated with AmorArtis Chamber Orchestra, The Boys Choir of Harlem and Nancy Reich in her lectures on Clara Schumann. In addition, Vladimir participated in the European premiere of Cage's "Four Walls" in Berlin and Hamburg and in world premieres of Aleksandra Vrebalov's and Dick Hyman's commissioned compositions with Knoxville Symphony at Southwest Virginia Festival for the Arts. He received high praise from Fanfare Magazine and All Music Guide for his most recent recording Tribute to Faure (Labor Records).

Originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vladimir Valjarevic earned Bachelor and Master of Music degrees with honors from Mannes College of Music in New York City and Professional Studies Certificate from Geneva Conservatory in Switzerland, where he studied as a recipient of Fulbright Scholarship and Swiss Arts Government Grant. He is a Doctoral Candidate at Rutgers-The State University of New Jersey. His principal teachers are Pavlina Dokovska, Pascal Devoyon, Susan Starr and Vladimir Feltsman. Festivals include IMS Prussia Cove (England), American Conservatory in Fontainebleau (France), Apeldoorn (The Netherlands), Round Top (Texas), Kneisel Hall (Maine), International Keyboard Institute and Beethoven Institute (New York). He is a prize winner of numerous National Competitions in former Yugoslavia and of "Citta di Stresa" and "Citta di Marsala" Competitions for the Young in Italy. Vladimir is on piano faculty of Mannes Preparatory and Extension divisions.
