The Duo Resonances - Frédérique LUZY and Pierre BIBAULT - , is a French Guitar Duo performing on many international stages: Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Morocco, Poland, Spain, The Netherlands, Ukraine.
The duo has shared the bill with Odaïr ASSAD at the Guitar Event Festival in Belgium, has inaugurated the Music Studios at the Cite Internationale Universitaire de Paris in first part of the Ensemble Itineraire, has performed for the Quebecois television, and for Radio 4 – the Dutch National Classic Radio. In 2010, the duo has also been invited by the City of Vinnitsia in Ukraine for a concert tour and masterclasses in the most prestigious concert halls of the Country: City Museum of Vinnitsia, Philharmonic Halls of Khmelnytskyi and Lviv where it takes part to the 29th International Music Festival ‘Virtuosi’.
Frédérique LUZY and Pierre BIBAULT prepare for 2012 a tour in the United States and more particularly in New York where they will premiere a piece of the composer Damon FERRANTE and record their first CD.
Fascinated by the music written for keyboard and for orchestra, they have realized for their duo numerous transcriptions of works by Domenico SCARLATTI, Enrique GRANADOS, Alberto GINASTERA, Manuel de FALLA that they have included to their repertoire besides Federico MOMPOU and Astor PIAZZOLLA.

Postgraduate from the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris – Alfred Cortot and First Prizes of French Conservatories, Frédérique LUZY and Pierre BIBAULT both hold two Master's degree in Guitar Performance from the Hogeschool Zuyd - Maastricht Conservatorium (Netherlands), Carlo MARCHIONE’s class, as well as in Guitar Didactic from the Conservatoire Royal de Musique de Liège (Belgium).
They studied with the world’s most renowned masters among whom Odaïr ASSAD, Aniello DESIDERIO, Marcin DYLLA, Pablo MARQUEZ, the Duo MELIS - Susana PRIETO and Alexis MUZURAKIS, Judicaël PERROY, Alberto PONCE, Stephan SCHMIDT and Pavel STEIDL, and with the greatest chamber music performers such as François DEPPE, Ville HILTULA or Christophe SIMONET.
They have won multiple Prizes in International Chamber Music Competitions: Olsztyn – Poland (2010), Bellan Foundation - Paris (2011), Mozzani – Italy (2011).
The two musicians play on Australian guitars made by Jim REDGATE.
